Getting To Know The Brains Behind Eclect
Minimalist fashion label, Ecléct, is making waves across Australia.
Owner, Anna Zuo, began the Sydney based fashion label just over a year ago now. "We saw an opportunity for a fashion forward, edgy brand with a European influence," Anna says. The rise of minimalism has taken over our social media feeds and our wardrobes and thus Ecléct's success began. The brand has now expanded to include a team of brand and marketing managers. "Everyone plays a part in bringing the brand to life and we consistently deliver to our loyal customers," Anna says.
The Ecléct brand features simple and minimal designs with bold embellishments and detail. "The Ecléct woman adores monochromatic tones, structured silhouettes and feminine undertones," Anna says. With a constant push to create an edge to her brand, she frequently travels to Europe to gain inspiration for her designs. "I feel the brand represents a fresh new take on the minimalism trend. A lot of the designs are simple with sophisticated detailing," Anna says.

Ecléct's Summer 17 collection features crisp whites and contrasting blacks but it was the detailing of the eyelets that captured everyones hearts. "I wanted to create a range that portrayed a call to femininity with a touch of edge, hence the silver hardware and eyelet detailing," Anna says. The upcoming Winter 17 collection will incorporate oversized shirting, vegan leather and burgundy tones. As for the rest of the year, Anna says to expect fresh pops of green and botanical florals. To shop the Summer 17 collection, click here.
