The game changing sheet mask

Achieve that dewy glow

Every now and then I discover a beauty product that revolutionises my whole skincare routine. For a while now, I've wanted to try the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Sheet Mask and finally I just decided that I deserved it.

Sheet masks have been one of my go-to's for years now. I first started out at my local Korean beauty store where I would purchase 10 at a time, from collagen, to hyaluronic acid, and green tea, all ranging from $2–$8. Then came the Sephora days, where every interstate trip included stocking up on their infamous sheet masks – from green tea, to lotus flower.

Nowadays I'm very particular about what I put on my skin, and so sheet masks have become something of a monthly thing for me. I now purchase these exclusively from Mecca as this is my most trusted place to shop all things beauty. My favourites are: Go-To Transformazing Mask, Mecca Cosmetica Fresh Faced Face Mask, Patchology Milk Peel 5 Minute FlashMasque Sheet Masks and Mecca Cosmetica Urban Defence Protect & Purify Sheet Mask. But after trying Tatcha's sheet mask, I definitely have a new favourite.

Introducing: The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Sheet Mask

This face mask is a godsend for dehydrated skin. Enriched with botanical oils and extracts this mask is designed to deeply hydrate your skin, leaving it feeling dewy, soft and smooth – I honestly cannot believe how soft my face and neck feel, even 2 days post-treatment. The mask itself is an ultra-fine microfibre sheet mask, and is easily the softest and most luxuriously crafted mask I have used to date (this is probably due to my mask budget capping around the $15 mark!) The added bonus to this mask is that it comes with 20 ml of life-changing serum. So whatever you do, make sure you save the extra serum for the following two days.

How I use it

I love to use this mask on a Sunday night after I've exfoliated my skin and it's in desperate need of some hydration.

  1. Place mask in the fridge.

  2. Exfoliate and shower.

  3. Apply a toner.

  4. Remove the mask from the pack and apply to face.

  5. Wait 15-20 minutes.

  6. Remove mask and massage excess serum into face and neck.

  7. Keep the mask's packet full of serum and use over the next two days!
